Spokane International Airport
Conveniently located approximately seven miles southwest of downtown, Spokane International Airport (GEG) is the primary airport serving the Inland Northwest. The airport’s code was derived from its former name, Geiger Field, which was named after an Army aviation pioneer, Major Harold Geiger.
Ticket Counter Hours
Airport check-in counters are open for check-in 90 minutes prior to departure and will close 30 minutes before departure.
When to Arrive at the Airport
With Bags:
We recommend that guests arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure to ensure adequate time to check baggage and process through security screening.
Without Bags:
Guests should be present for boarding at the gate 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. Guests who are not at the gate and ready to board at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure time may forfeit their seat and fare paid.
